Changing the Routers LAN IP Address
In some cases, the LAN IP Address of the Roam 5G Router will be the same as the source Wi-Fi IP address. If this
is the case, using Wi-Fi as the internet source will not work.
To fix this, we must change the LAN IP Address of the Roam 5G Router. To do this, follow the steps below:
1. From the dashboard, select ‘Network’ and then ‘Interfaces’.
2. In the ‘IP Address’ box, change the IP address from 192.168.1.1 to your desired value.
3. It is not necessary to change any other settings. Select ‘save’ to add these settings and return to the
dashboard.
4. After completing this change, the Roam 5G Wi-Fi will reboot and you may temporarily loose connection to
the Wi-Fi. Once restored, it should not be necessary to reconnect your devices.
Note: The LAN IP Address is used to access the Roam 5G Router web user interface (WebUI). Therefore, by
changing the LAN IP Address, this will also change the address which is typed into the web browser to access
the router WebUI. Whatever address is used for the LAN IP address must be used.
