1. Using the Product as Intended
This cable serves as an extension of the cable from the 72751 sig-
nal controller / 72752 turnout controller to the 253391 base station
and between the signal and turnout controllers.
2. Safety Notes
Read through the operating instructions carefully before using
this mechanism for the first time.
• IMPORTANT! Not suitable for children under 3 years. There is
a danger of suffocation due to small parts that can break off
and be swallowed. Misuse of the switched mode power pack
can cause an electrical shock.
• Makesureyouinspecttheconditionoftheswitchedpower
pack and its connections to the wall outlet for damage at regu-
larintervals(dependingonhowoftentheswitchedpowerpack
isusedtoplaywiththetrain),atleastonceaweek.Thismust
be done with the switched power pack unplugged from the wall
outlet.Ifyouhavetheslightestsuspicionthatthereisdamage,
the switched power pack may not be used again until it has
been checked and repaired by the Märklin Repair Department.

• Theoperatinginstructionsareacomponentpartoftheproduct
and must therefore be kept in a safe place as well as included
withtheproduct,ifthelatterisgiventosomeoneelse.

lers.

6. Preparations
Setup may be done only under the supervision of adults. Unplug
the switched mode power pack from the household current in
order to prevent damage during setup. Do not plug the switched
mode power pack in the wall outlet again until you are finished
with all of the wiring.
! The cable may not be altered.

Notes about environmental protection:Products
that are identified with a garbage container with a
line through it may not be disposed of at the end of
their useful life with the normal household trash.
