ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
PRODUCT OPERATION
Preparing the device for operation
Caution! All actions described in this section must be carried out with the product unplugged. Make sure that the power cord has
been unplugged from the socket.
The product must be unpacked and all parts of the packaging completely removed. It is recommended to keep the packaging, as
it can be helpful in further transporting and storing of the product.
Check the product for damage. In the event of any damage being found, do not use the product, before the damage has been
remedied or the damaged components changed for new components, free of defects.
Mount the head to the product housing. Mount the head onto the housing socket so that the marker on the head points to the open
padlock symbol, and then rotate the head so that the marker points to the closed padlock symbol (II).
A cap can be attached to the head. Fix the cap by sliding it over the nozzle so that it clicks around the steam outlet (III).
The cap included with the device is used to brush thicker fabrics. The head without a cap can be used to iron smooth fabrics.
Water fi lling and emptying
Caution! Make sure that the product is disconnected from the power supply before fi lling it with water or emptying. The plug of the
power cord is pulled out of the socket. The product and the water stored in it must also be cooled.
Remove the head by rotating it so that the head marker indicates an open padlock symbol, and then remove the head from the
housing. Fill the tank with water, do not exceed the maximum tank capacity specifi ed in the technical data table. The side wall of
the tank has a MAX marker which shows the maximum water level when the product is set on its base.
It is recommended to use the funnel (IV) to fi ll the tank, as this will minimise the risk of splashing water while fi lling the tank.
Splashed water should be thoroughly cleaned before connecting the device to the mains power supply. Mount the head on the
device housing.
After use, disconnect the product from the power supply by unplugging the power cord from the socket.
Wait until the product and the water remaining in the tank have cooled down completely. Remove the head, remove the tank
stopper (V), turn the tank so that the inlet is facing downwards and empty the tank completely. Fit the tank stopper. If the tank and
stopper are removed too early, hot steam or water can be released, which can cause serious burns.
Switching the device on and off
After installing the device and fi lling the tank with water, place the device on a level, fi rm and stable surface, make sure that the
switch is in the “off ” position - O, and then put the product plug into the mains socket. Move the switch to the “on” position - I, and
wait until steam escapes from the nozzle and start operation.
Warning! Make sure that body parts are not near the steam outlet. Hot steam can cause severe burns.
After fi nishing work, move the switch to the “off ” position - O, wait for the steam to stop escaping from the nozzle. Place the device
on a level, fi rm and stable surface, unplug the power cord from the socket and leave the product to cool down completely.
Water quality
The tank can only be fi lled with cold, clean water. If the running water is hard, in case of lack of knowledge contact your local water
supplier, use tap water and demineralised water mixture or only demineralised water. Heating hard water causes scale build-up,
which can lead to a decrease in capacity or even a complete clogging of the device.
Due to the use of brass parts, no descaling agents can be used in the tank and nozzles.
Device operation
Keep the nozzle outlet close to the ironed fabric. Move the nozzle in a smooth motion. Avoid prolonged steaming of one spot, this
can lead to excessive wetting of the fabric and, in consequence, its damage. It is best to iron creases which are diffi cult to remove
by moving the steam jet over them several times, as opposed to doing it once, but more intensively.
Do not use the device as a steam cleaner, for cleaning ceramic surfaces, glass, mirrors, etc.
After ironing, clothing may be slightly damp and warm, wait until it dries and cools down.
Do not use a steam cleaner to iron fabrics which are not intended for ironing. Before using the device, check the garment label, if
there is a crossed-out iron symbol on it, this means that the garment cannot be ironed.
Do not iron leather clothes, artifi
cial and natural fur. Do not use the device for ironing, cleaning or disinfecting the upholstery.
During operation, the amount of water in the tank must be constantly monitored. If the capacity of the device decreases, it may
mean that the water in the tank has to be replenished. Do not allow an empty water tank to be heated. This can lead to damage
to the device, or result in an electric shock or fi re.
