SECTION 5: MAINTENANCE
Warning: Before performing maintenance and/or cleaning the exterior of the heat panel, always
disconnect the unit from the power supply and leave until cooled off.
5.1 Cleaning the Heater
You can clean the exterior of the heat panel with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use cleaning or
polishing products. To remove fingerprints or other marks on the front ceramic panel, use a soft, damp,
lint-free cloth and a good quality household glass cleaner. The front panel should always be completely
dried with a clean, lint- free cloth or paper towel.
Caution: Do not use abrasive cleaners on the heat panel. Do not spray liquids directly on to any surface of
the unit.
Caution: Other maintenance must be performed by a competent electrician.
5.2 Environment
Meaning of crossed –out wheeled dustbin:
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities.
Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If electrical
appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and
get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. When replacing old appliances with new ones,
the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposals at least free of charge.
Disposing of the packaging
The packaging is made of cardboard and separately labelled foil which is also recyclable. Take these
materials to a recycling centre.
5.3 24-Month Limited Warranty
If you experience any problems with your product within 24 months from the date of purchase, please
return the product to the distributor/dealer for repair or replacement. This warranty DOES NOT COVER
normal wear, or any damage as a result of accidents, misuse, abuse or negligence.
