The flexible head joint for adjusting the wiping and
scraping angle is suitable for hard-to-reach areas, as
well as for cleaning window exteriors.
You can fill the liquid container with 150 ml of water
or your preferred cleaning fluid, depending on the
application.
The spray attachment has 2 spray options: STREAM =
targeted wetting, SPRAY = spray mist. When set to OFF, the
water supply is stopped.
Squeegee with rubber lip + waste water tank: for
thorough removal of dirt & water. The rubber lip has a
special coating on the underside (warning - do not peel
this off!), which catches the water and gradually releases
it into the waste water tank.
Washable cleaning pad: made of foam, very soft, and
highly absorbent; can absorb large volumes of liquid.
Spacers: The two spacers located below the rubber
lip help to optimally drain the liquid. To achieve optimal
results, these must be touching the window pane (or the
surface to be cleaned).
The cleaning pad and window squeegee can also be
used separately.
In addition to windows, shower walls, solar modules,
balcony power plants, car windows, tiles and mirrors
can also be cleaned. Always pay attention to the relevant
cleaning instructions.
ASSEMBLY
Telescopic pole (#1)
Take the head joint and the telescopic pole, and insert them
into each other as shown. Make sure that the locking button
on the telescopic pole can snap into the small hole on the
head joint. The length of the telescopic rod can be adjusted by
turning it to open and close the extension mechanism. To fix it
in place, tighten the telescopic pole clockwise.
Attaching the cleaning pad holder (#2)
Carefully slide the cleaning pad holder into the slide-in pad
holder.
Spray bottle (#3)
Take the window squeegee/squeegee with rubber lip
including water hose, and insert it into the spray bottle,
then screw it tightly. To add water/cleaning fluids (such as
common glass cleaners or other suitable cleaning agents),
simply turn the spray bottle in or out.
Now insert the spray bottle into the spray bottle insert.
Make sure that the spray bottle snaps into the spray bottle/
squeegee locking button.
To release the connection, simply lift the locking button tab
with your fingers and pull out the spray bottle.
WINDOW CLEANING TIPS:
We recommend using distilled water in regions with
particularly hard water.
For best results, do not clean your windows in direct
sunlight.
Depending on the degree of dirtiness, you may wish to add
appropriate cleaning agents to the liquid container.
#4 - APPLICATION: 1. SPRAY – 2. WIPE – 3. SQUEEGEE
Step 1 - SPRAY
To begin cleaning, hold the spray head away from you and
press the spray button.
You can choose between 2 settings; turn the spray head to the
desired position:
STREAM: targeted wetting
SPRAY: spray mist
OFF: the water supply is stopped
Step 2 – WASH
After the surface to be cleaned has been made wet, turn the
Livington WindowBuddy over and wipe/clean the window
with the side on which the cleaning pad is attached. Move
the window cleaner over the surface to be cleaned (up and
down movements) while applying a small amount of pressure.
Repeat these steps until the desired level of cleanliness is
achieved.
Info: If you want to clean the cleaning pad during cleaning
(e.g. after using it on heavily soiled surfaces), you can simply
remove it from the pad adapter (#5) and then reattach it.
We recommend cleaning with lukewarm water and a small
amount of detergent/washing liquid.
Step 3 – SQUEEGEE
After cleaning, turn the telescopic pole so that the side with
the rubber lip can be used to thoroughly remove dirt and
water from the surface.
The rubber lip has a special coating on the underside (do
not peel this off!), which catches the water and gradually
releases it into the water tank.
In order to optimally remove the liquid, the two spacers
(which are located below the rubber lip) must touch the
window pane (or the surface to be cleaned).
Pull in lines from top to bottom that are as straight as
