SAFETY NOTICES

This device should only be used by children aged 8 years and over, as well as by persons

with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if

they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the device. Children must

never be allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be

performed by children without supervision.

USING THE FOOD THERMOMETER

Follow these simple steps to ensure that you are using the food thermometer correctly:

1. Test: Use either iced water or boiling water to check that your food thermometer is working properly.

2. Correct placement: Correct placement is very important for obtaining an accurate measurement. To do this, insert the food

thermometer in the thickest part of the food, making sure that it does not touch any bones, fat or cartilage.

3. Precise measurement: Wait 5 to 10 seconds before reading the temperature.

4. Care & cleaning: Clean your food thermometer with hot, soapy water after each use. This prevents cross-contamination and the

spread of harmful bacteria. The battery sticker must be removed before use.

CAUTION: The tip is extremely sharp!
