Note:
If the device is not used for a long time, the battery charge level will
continuously decrease; please charge the battery once or twice every
six months.
The vacuum cleaner cannot be used and cannot be switched on
while charging.
Switching on & off, and regulating the power (#2b):
1.
Switching on: Press the on/off button to switch on the vacuum cleaner.
The display shows the charge level as a percentage and a green
indicator light. The device runs at medium speed. Note: After you have
pressed the On/Off button, there will be a 1-2 second delay before
the motor develops its full power. This is a safety measure, and is not
a defect.
Note: Pressing the speed button 3 times will allow you to enter auto
mode.
2.
Change performance: Press the speed level button (button with circle
symbol) once to activate the higher speed level. To change to the next
speed level, press the speed level button again.
3.
Switching off: Press the power button again to turn off the device. The
power LED switches off with the device.
*Note: AUTO: Advanced sensor for automatic suction power adjustment
– detects dirt level and floor type, and adjusts the power accordingly for
efficient and battery-saving cleaning.
EMPTYING THE DUST CONTAINER:
Note:
To prevent blockages and a decrease in the suction power, we
recommend emptying the dust container after each use.
Rapid emptying:
1.
Turn off the device.
2.
Hold the vacuum cleaner with the suction opening facing down over
a waste bin.
3.
Press the rapid emptying button on the container to easily and
conveniently empty the dust container.
4.
Fold the lid of the dust container back up again until it firmly clicks
into place. Make sure that the container is tightly closed.
Caution: The suction opening must remain open and free of obstruction
at all times. Otherwise the motor will overheat and may be damaged.
Changing and cleaning the dust filter:
To ensure that the vacuum cleaner always operates at peak
performance, empty the dust container and clean the filter
regularly.
1.
Turn off the vacuum cleaner.
2.
Hold the vacuum cleaner with the suction opening facing up.
3.
Press the rapid emptying button once to empty the dust container.
4.
Now grasp the filter unit and pull the unit out (#10). You can now
clean the container with a slightly damp cloth.
FILTER REPLACEMENT/CLEANING:
1.
Make sure that the device is switched off.
2.
Remove any dirt from the dust container.
3.
Now remove the stainless steel filter from the container by turning it
slightly to the left to unlock it and then pulling it out (#10).
4.
Separating the filters: Hold the handle with your thumb and index
finger and turn the stainless steel filter slightly to the left to separate
the filters. Now you can remove the HEPA filter and clean the filters.
5.
Inserting a new HEPA filter: To insert a new HEPA filter, place it in the
stainless steel filter (pay attention to the brackets inside the stainless
steel filter) (#11b). Now turn the filter clockwise until you hear it click
into place. Now insert the stainless steel filter back into the vacuum
cleaner with a slight twist.
If there is a noticeable loss of suction, unpleasant odours or visible dirt,
we recommend replacing the HEPA filter.
Important note: Do not clean the filters in the washing machine
and only ever leave them to air dry. Do not use a hairdryer to dry.
NEVER operate the vacuum cleaner without the dust filter installed.
CLEANING:
Before cleaning, make sure that the device is disconnected from the
power supply and switched off. The following cleaning recommendations
for the various components apply:
Charging station: Wipe with a damp, soft cotton cloth (with water or
a neutral cleaner) without allowing water or cleaner to penetrate and
cause damage.
HEPA filter (#11a):
1.
Tap the filter carefully, or clean it with a soft brush. ALWAYS clean the
filter after vacuuming fine dusts, such as flour.
2.
Clean the filter under running water and allow it to dry completely
before the next use. Never use a damp filter!
Stainless steel filter (#10):
Use a damp cloth to clean the stainless steel filter or rinse it under running
water. The filter must be completely dry before it is re-inserted into the
device.
Cleaning the roller brush (#7a-b):
To ensure that the vacuum cleaner always works at peak
performance, the roller brush must be cleaned regularly.
1.
Open the roller brush cover and remove it.
2.
Carefully clean the brush to remove any hair and dust.
STORAGE:
Store the device in a cool and dry place when not in use. Do not expose
it to direct sunlight or moisture. Use the charging station to store the
vacuum cleaner and its accessories.
