If the drawers are removed:
u
Pull the lid up at the front in the retaining parts to
the opening Fig. 156(1).
u
Lift from the back and pull it up and out Fig. 156(2).
8.8.2 Inserting the compartment lid

If the text THIS SIDE UP is on top:
u
Insert the lip of the cover over the opening of the
rear bracket Fig. 157(1) and click into place Fig. 157(2).

Position the cover where you want it
(see 8.9 Humidity control) .
8.9 Humidity control
You can regulate the moisture in the drawer yourself by
adjusting the compartment cover.
The compartment cover is on the drawer itself and can
be covered with shelves or additional drawers.

Low air humidity
u
Open the drawer.
u
Pull the drawer cover to the front.
w
If the drawer is closed: Gap between lid and
compartment.
u
Switch off HydroBreeze.*
w
Moisture levels lower in the Safe.
High air moisture:
u
Open the drawer.
u
Slide the compartment cover to the back.
w
If the drawer is closed: The cover seals the compart‐
ment.
u
Activate the HydroBreeze.*
w
Moisture levels rise in the Safe.
If there is too much moisture in the compartment:
u
Choose a “low moisture setting”.
-or-
u
Remove the moisture with a cloth.
Note
With the “low humidity” setting, the Fruit & Vegetable-
Safe can also be used as a Meat & Dairy-Safe.

Choose a “low moisture” setting.
8.10 HydroBreeze*
HydroBreeze emits a mist over the refrigerated goods
to provide moisture every time the door is opened.
The HydroBreeze and its water tank are located in the
adjustable bottle shelf.
Make sure that the following requirements are fulfilled

The water tank is clean (see 9.6.4 Cleaning the
equipment) .

The water tank is properly engaged.
-
Moisture is set to “high moisture” (see 8.9 Humidity
control) .
-
HydroBreeze is on (see HydroBreeze*) .
8.10.1 Fill the water tank
WARNING
Contaminated water!
Poisoning.
u
Fill with drinking water only.
u
HydroBreeze is off: Empty the water tank.
u
HydroBreeze is out of use for a prolonged period:
Empty the water tank.
NOTICE
Sugary liquids!
Damage to the HydroBreeze.
u
Fill with drinking water only.
