9.1.1 Removing the FreshAir carbon filter

Pull out the compartment Fig. 119(1).

Remove the carbon filter Fig. 119(2).

Insert the carbon filter as shown in the diagram

The carbon filter clicks into place.
If the carbon filter is pointing downwards:

Push the compartment in Fig.120(2).

The carbon filter is now ready for use.
9.2 Disassembling / assembling pull-
out systems
9.2.1 Notes on disassembly
You can disassemble some of the pull-out systems for
cleaning. Your appliance can contain a variety of pull-out
systems.
The following pull-out systems can be disassembled or
cannot be disassembled:
Pull-out system

Drawer on appliance base or
glass shelf
cannot be disassembled
Pull-out system can be disassembled/
cannot be disassembled
Fully extendible* cannot be disassembled*
Fridge section partial pull-out* cannot be disassembled*
9.3 Removing / inserting the variable
bottle rack
The variable bottle rack can be removed for cleaning.
9.3.1 Removing the variable bottle rack
Ensure that the following requirements are met:

Bottles have been removed.
q
Glass shelf has been removed. (see 8.5.1 Using the vari‐
able bottle rack)

Lift the variable bottle rack at the front and pull it out.

The compartment lid is visible.
Note
Liebherr recommends:
Do not place any items on the compartment lid below.
9.3.2 Inserting the variable bottle rack

Push the variable bottle rack in to the end stop and press
it down.

Insert the glass shelf. (see 8.5.2Using the glass shelf)

Use the variable bottle rack for bottles.
9.4 Compartment lid for Fruit & Vege‐
table Safe
You can remove the compartment lid for cleaning.
