Remove the LCD panel and the EDP cable

Make sure the following FRUs (CRUs) have been removed.

“Remove the LCD module” on page 45

“Remove the hinge cover” on page 55

“Remove the hinges” on page 55

“Remove the strip cover” on page 56

Step 1. Remove the two pieces of removable tape with tweezers. Then remove the LCD panel.

Note: The removable tape are not reusable. Replace them when replacing related FRUs.

Step 2. Disconnect the EDP cable from the LCD panel and then remove the EDP cable.
