part:

Heat sink

VRAM Absorber tape

Remove the fans

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.

“Remove the lower case” on page 32

“Remove the heat sink” on page 38

Step 1. Disconnect the fan cables from the system board and then release the antenna cables and EDP

cable from the cable guide.

Step 2. Remove six screws and then remove the fans.
