Step 2. Install the built-in battery in reverse order.
Notes:
• Ensure that the connector is attached firmly.
• Ensure that the base cover assembly is secured in place. Otherwise, the battery connection may
fail.
Thermal fan
For access, remove this FRU:
• “Base cover assembly” on page 72
Step 1.
Note: Remove the wireless LAN antenna cables before removing the thermal fan connector.
Remove the thermal fan as shown below.
