Wireless WAN card (for selected models)
Follow the instructions to replace the wireless WAN card.
For access, remove this FRU:
• “Base cover assembly” on page 72
Attention: Do not touch the contact edge of the wireless WAN card. Otherwise, the wireless WAN card
might get damaged.
Note: A plastic tape might cover the wireless WAN card connectors. To access the wireless WAN card, peel
off the tape first. Do not damage the tape and attach it in place after installation.
Step 1. Remove the wireless WAN card as shown below.
