3. Close the computer display and turn over the computer.
Step 1. Remove the base cover assembly.
a. Loosen the screws that secure the base cover assembly.
b. Press the base cover assembly 2 and then pull it from the hinge and the Ethernet connector

Note: Press the base cover assembly 2 with a pressure of less than 5 kg (11.02 lb). Release
the pressure immediately when the base cover assembly is opened.
Step 2. Install the base cover assembly as shown below.
