How to install new color profiles after replacing the LCD panel
Follow the instructions to install new color profiles for LCD panels shipped with the factory color calibration
feature.
Step 1. Go to
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com. Type Lenovo Adaptive ICC Profile in the search box and then
press Enter.
Step 2. Click the Downloads tab.
Step 3. Download Lenovo Adaptive ICC Profile EXE file.
Step 4. Double-click the EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the profile.
LED/Camera cable
Follow the instructions to replace the LED/Camera cable.
For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• “Base cover assembly” on page 72
• “LCD unit” on page 102
• “LCD bezel with webcam privacy shutter” on page 106
• “LCD hinges” on page 107
• “LCD panel and elastic adhesive tapes” on page 108
Step 1. Remove the LED/Camera cable as shown below.
Step 2. Install the LED/Camera cable in reverse order.
Camera-and-microphone module (for selected models)
Follow the instructions to replace the camera-and-microphone module.
For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• “Base cover assembly” on page 72
• “LCD unit” on page 102
• “LCD bezel with webcam privacy shutter” on page 106
• “LCD hinges” on page 107
• “LCD panel and elastic adhesive tapes” on page 108
