Step 2. Peel back the mylar, disconnect the EDP cable from the LCD panel, and remove the LCD panel.

replacement part:

Remove the EDP cable
Make sure the following FRUs (CRUs) have been removed.
“Remove the lower case” on page 29
“Remove the LCD module” on page 42
“Remove the hinge cover” on page 45
“Remove the LCD bezel” on page 45
“Remove the LCD panel” on page 46
Step 1. Disconnect the EDP cable from the camera board and remove the EDP cable.
