Remove the system board
Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
“Remove the lower case” on page 29
“Remove the Wi-Fi card” on page 34
“Remove the 2242 solid-state drive” on page 34
“Remove the memory module” on page 35
“Remove the heat sink” on page 36
“Remove the fan” on page 37
Step 1. Disconnect the coin-cell battery battery cable, touchpad cable, keyboard cable, keyboard backlight
cable, speakers’ cable, and EDP cable from the system board. Then, disconnect the USB cable
from the USB board.

Step 2. Remove two screws and open the right hinge.
