Remove the system board and the I/O cable
Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
“Remove the lower case” on page 29
“Remove the battery pack” on page 30
“Remove the strip cover” on page 36
“Remove the thermal module” on page 41
“Remove the DC-in bracket” on page 40
“Remove the Wi-Fi card” on page 31
“Remove the 2242 solid-state drive” on page 33
“Remove the DIMM shielding and the memory module” on page 35
“Remove the I/O board” on page 43
Step 1. Disconnect the camera cable, speakers connector, touchpad cable, keyboard backlight or RGB
cable, CMOS battery connector, keyboard cable, and EDP cable from the system board (1 and 2).
