TURNING
The correct turning technique is as follows:
1. Keep looking where you are turning.
2. Turn the handlebars in the direction of the turn.
3. Shift your body weight slightly and shift your weight to the inner footrest.
4. Tilt your upper body against the centrifugal force
SKIDDING / SLIDING
If unintentional skidding or sliding of the wheels occurs under braking, it can be reduced using riding tech-
niques.
MAINTENANCE
PROHIBITED!
We strongly recommend that you have your motorcycle repaired and replaced by an authorised service
centre. If you do it yourself, use only original spare parts. In case of an improperly performed service, the
customer loses the warranty provided by the manufacturer!
CHAIN TENSION ADJUSTMENT
Chain life can be extended by regular inspection and maintenance.
It is important to lubricate the chain regularly.
The chain tension can be adjusted as follows:
Remove the chain guard.
Loosen the rear wheel axle nut.
Loosen the rear brake calliper bolt.
Set the desired tension using the tensioner nuts equally on both sides.Tension the chain so that it has a sag
of approx.15 mm.
Tighten all loose nuts and bolts, and check wheel alignment.
Attach the chain guard.
BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
Brake pressure may need to be adjusted. The brakes can be adjusted using the extension screws on the
Bowden cable guides, or by shortening or extending the cables directly on the brakes.
BRAKE PAD ADJUSTMENT
If the brake pads rest against the brake disc, they must be adjusted.
Centre the pads by loosening/tightening the Allen screws on the brake calliper so that the gap between the
pads and the disc is the same everywhere and maintains the functionality of the brakes.
TYRE PRESSURE
Check tyre pressure (138 kPa / 20 PSI) and tread condition regularly.
REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ADJUSTMENT
The hardness of the rear shock can be adjusted to the weight of the rider. This can be done by turning the
nut on its lower part.
