INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• When using the appliance for the rst time you may notice a slight burning smell.
This is normal and will disappear after a few uses.
• Place the appliance on a dry, level surface.
• When the blending jug is correctly placed on the main unit, plug in and switch on at the
socket, the function icons will illuminate.
• If the blending jug is not in place or correctly seated, all the function icons will ash.
• Add your liquid or food to the attachment, not exceeding 1750ml.
• DO NOT use the blending jug for hot liquids and excess foods, pressure may build up
inside, this could cause the lid to come off and the contents to splash out. Allow hot
food and liquids to cool to room temperature before blending.
• DO NOT use the appliance without any food or liquid inside.
• Always ensure the blender is lled with a minimum of 200ml of liquid or food. The
maximum amount of food and liquid should not exceed 1750ml.
• Place the lid rmly on the blending jug and lock into place.
• Insert the measuring cup rmly into the feed hole and lock into place.
• When the attachment is correctly in place on the main unit, turn on the power/control
dial clockwise to the “ON” position, this allows you to use a variable speed from ‘01’ to
‘10’. Otherwise you can press one of the function buttons. Turn clockwise to your
chosen speed setting.
• At the end of preparation, turn the dial anticlockwise to the ‘OFF’ position, wait until the
blades come to a complete stop.
• The function icons will not work at the same time if you are using the adjsutable speed
on the power/control dial.
• Turn on the power/control dial clockwise to adjust the dial to the “ON” position, then
select the corresponding function on the control panel. The blender will automatically
stop after the function is completed, wait until the blades come to a complete stop.
• Never reach into the blending jug with your hands or utensils when the blender is
running.
• The removable 30ml measuring cup in the lid makes it easy for additional ingredients
to be added whilst you blend.
• Switch off and unplug at the socket.
