USING THE 1.75L DIGITAL BLENDER FOR THE FIRST
TIME
• Unpack the appliance, remove all the packaging materials.
• Before rst use, wipe the main unit with a clean, damp cloth.
• Wash the rest of the parts in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Be careful
when washing the blades as they are sharp.
• Make sure all parts are clean and dry before assembling the product.
ASSEMBLING THE BLENDING JUG
1. Sit the blending jug onto the main unit. Turn it
clockwise so it locks onto the main unit.
The blender can only be operated if it is locked
correctly onto the main unit, this is a safety feature.
2. Place the lid on top of the blending jug and push it
down.
3. Twist the lid clockwise so that the locking tab locates
into the locking slot, the tabs on the sides of the lid
will secure it in place. The lid should now be ush
over the top of the handle.
Place the removable measuring cup into the feed
hole, aligning the tabs on the measuring cup with the
grooves on the lid and turn clockwise to locate the
lock.
Always ensure the lid and the measuring cup are
rmly in place before operating. If they are not
correctly in place the appliance will not work, this is a
safety feature.
Plug in and switch on the Digital Blender at the
socket. The Digital Blender is now ready to use.
