AIR PURIFIER – INSTRUCTIONS AND WARRANTY

Dear customer, Laica would like to thank you for choosing one of our

products, designed according to strict performance and quality criteria in

order to ensure total satisfaction.

IMPORTANT

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USE

KEEP IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

The instruction manual must be considered an integral part of the

product and must be kept for its entire life. If the product is transferred

to another owner, its documentation must also be transferred in its

entirety. To ensure the safe and correct use of the product, the user

must carefully read the instructions and warnings contained in the

manual insofar as they provide important information regarding safety,

user and maintenance instructions.

The air purifier improves the quality of the air that is breathed inside a room,

reducing the presence of pollutants. The air is purified through a HEPA filter

and plasma generator. The HEPA filter with activated carbons mechanically

retains air impurities (dust, mould, mites, smoke, pollen, bacteria, etc.),

absorbing unpleasant odours. Thanks to the production of ions, the plasma

generator captures pollutants and impurities in the air.

SAFETY WARNINGS

The use of any electrical device requires compliance with certain fundamental rules:

• Before using the appliance make sure it is intact and without visible damage. If in

doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your dealer.

• Keep the packaging away from children: danger of suffocation.

• Before connecting the appliance, make sure the mains voltage corresponds with

the voltage on the plate located on the base of the appliance.

• The appliance must be connected to an earthed wall socket.

• This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed, i.e.

as an air purifier for domestic environments, and in the manner indicated in the

operating instructions. All other uses are to be considered improper and therefore

hazardous. The manufacturer shall not be deemed liable for any damage caused

by inappropriate or incorrect use.

• This appliance can be used by children and by persons with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they

are supervised or instructed on how to use the equipment safely and understand

the hazards involved. Children must not be allowed to play with the device.

Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children.

• Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.

NEVER leave the appliance unattended while it is on. After use, turn it off and

disconnect it from the mains.

• In case of a fault and/or malfunction, switch off the appliance without tampering

with it. The air purifier does not contain parts that may be repaired by the user.

The product can only be opened by means of special tools. Any repairs must

be carried out exclusively by competent technical personnel. Always contact the

retailer for repairs.

DO NOT use the appliance if the power cable or plug is damaged, after

malfunctions have occurred, or if the unit has been dropped or damaged in any

way.

DO NOT connect or disconnect the appliance and DO NOT use it with wet or damp

hands.

DO NOT pull the power cord or the appliance itself to unplug it.

• Treat the product with care, protect it from impacts, extreme variations in

temperature, humidity, dust, direct sunlight and sources of heat. Do not expose

the appliance to atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.), high temperatures or place

it near computers or other electronic devices.

• Unplug it immediately after use and always before cleaning.

• If an electrical appliance falls into water, do not attempt to extract it, but

immediately remove the plug from the power socket.

• To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse the cord, plug or the

appliance in water or any other liquid. Never put the appliance or any part of it in

the dishwasher.

Attention! Do NOT tamper with the power cord for any reason. In the event of

damage, contact your dealer.

Unwind the cable completely. DO NOT allow the cable to hang over the edge of

the table or worktop or touch hot surfaces. To avoid the risk of fire, do not run the

cord under carpets.

NEVER use adapters for supply voltages other than those indicated on the data

label attached under the appliance. Do not use extensions or multiple sockets.

DO NOT use the appliance outdoors.

• The appliance IS NOT intended to be operated via an external timer or a separate

remote control system.

• Using accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire,

electric shock or physical injuries.

WARNING! PRIOR TO USING THIS DEVICE

• Place the air purifier on a flat, hard, water-resistant surface that is not accessible

to children. DO NOT place the appliance on surfaces that are delicate or sensitive

to water and moisture. Position the appliance so that air can freely enter the intake

grille located on the back of the product.

Do not use the appliance unless the filter has been placed behind the intake

grille on the back of the product. DO NOT obstruct the air inlet and outlet grilles

with rags or objects: this may cause the appliance to suffer irreparable

damage.

Never remove the filter while the appliance is running.

Do not use the device outdoors and in environments with extreme temperatures.

• This device IS NOT intended for professional use but only for domestic use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. On first use, insert the support feet on the back of the device as illustrated

in fig.2.

2. Place the air purifier on a flat, hard, water-resistant surface that is not

accessible to children. DO NOT place the appliance on surfaces that are
