from the appliance and cause scalding or severe burns.
When the water in the tank has completely evaporated, turn off the
appliance immediately and disconnect it from the mains; wait for the
device to cool down, refill the tank and proceed as illustrated in the
“Instructions for use” paragraph.
Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the power supply if the device makes
strange sounds or emits unpleasant odours.
This device IS NOT intended for professional use but only for domestic use.
Use the appliance in accordance with these instructions. Any misuse may
result in potential injuries, electric shock or other hazards.
This is not a toy: it is a hot humidifier for domestic use. Do not leave the
appliance unattended even when not in use.
Always unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning operations.
Keep in mind that high levels of humidity can promote the growth of
biological organisms in the environment.
The hot humidifier generates steam by boiling water. However, if the water
is not changed and the tank is not properly cleaned every 3 days, micro-
organisms that may be present in the water or environment in which the
appliance is used or stored can grow in the water tank and be released
into the air causing very serious health risks.
Do not allow the area around the humidifier to become humid or
wet. In case of humidity, reduce the power of the humidifier. If it is not
possible to reduce the output volume of the humidifier, use it intermittently.
Do not allow absorbent materials, such as carpets, curtains, drapery, or
tablecloths, to become damp.
Never leave water in the water tank when the appliance is
not in use. Replace the water and clean the humidifier at the
latest every 3 days to avoid bacterial growth.
Empty and clean the humidifier before storing it. Clean the humidifier
as illustrated in the “Cleaning and maintenance” paragraph before
using it.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Place the humidifier on a flat, hard, water-resistant surface. DO NOT place
the appliance near persons and under materials that are sensitive to heat or
moisture, or under protruding panels or lights, to prevent damage caused by
steam or moisture.
2. Do not turn on the appliance if the tank has not been filled with water.
3. Remove the lid using the appropriate grippers (2). Make sure that the steam
duct (9) and its cover (10) are properly inserted and latched to the product.
4. Pour cold tap water into the tank (water quantity: approx. 1.8 litres). DO NOT
exceed the MAX level indicated on the water tank, do not add fragrances,
perfumes, medicines or anything else in the water tank. Put back the tank
lid. After filling the tank, always keep the appliance on a perfectly horizontal
surface.
5. Connect the electrical cable to the power outlet, making sure that the voltage
is correct.
6. Press the O/I button to turn on the appliance: the indicator light comes on.
Steam delivery only starts a few minutes after the appliance has been turned
on (approx. 6 minutes) and lasts until the tank is empty (approx. 7.5 hours
of operating time)
Never place your face or hands near the steam outlet (3), as the temperature
of the steam may cause burns or scalding.
7. When the water in the water tank reaches the minimum filling level,
the steam stops coming out, and the indicator light goes out. Turn
off the appliance by pressing the O/I button and unplug the power
cord from the socket. Wait a few minutes for the device to cool
down and refill the tank, then turn on the appliance as illustrated
above.
The humidifier is equipped with an automatic device that turns off the
heating unit (12) when the water in the tank reaches the minimum level. It
is always necessary to wait a few minutes for the heating unit to cool down
before operating the device again
Always wait for the device to cool down before touching it: contact
with the hot heater unit (12) may cause scalding or severe burns.
NEVER remove the lid while the appliance is running.
When removing the lid, pay attention to moisture that may leak and cause
injury to people and pets and damage to surfaces.
8. Turn off the humidifier at any time by pressing the O/I button.
Immediately after the appliance has been turned off, the water may continue
to boil for a few minutes.
9. When using fragrances, pour a few drops (a couple of drops per day) into
the fragrance compartment (11) (see fig.1) before turning on the device. Use
only water-soluble essential oils. Do not pour essential oils directly into the
water and make sure that essential oils do not drop into the steam duct.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work, turn off the appliance,
disconnect the power cord from the wall socket and allow the appliance to cool
down completely.
Never leave water in the water tank when the appliance is not in use.
Remove the tank lid and completely drain the remaining water from the tank drain
point (13). Make sure the electric cable and the O/I button do not get wet.
Limescale may build up in the tank during operation. The appliance must be
cleaned at least every three days. Remove the steam duct cover (10) and release
the steam duct (9) by turning it clockwise; immerse them in a bowl with water
and vinegar and let them soak for approx. 20 minutes. Rinse the lid and remove
the scale using vinegar. To clean the inside of the tank, pour a solution of water
and vinegar (about 2 litres of liquid in total) and let it soak for about 4 hours, then
empty the tank taking care not to wet the electrical cable and the O/I button. Rinse
the inside of the tank, the lid, the steam duct and its cover thoroughly with water,
dry all parts thoroughly with a soft cloth, allow the tank to dry naturally.
Clean the outside of the tank using a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use chemicals
or abrasives. Fasten the steam duct to the tank by turning it anticlockwise.
At the end of the season of use of the humidifier, after cleaning as illustrated above,
ensure that all parts are completely dry. When the appliance is not used for more
than three days, wash the entire device and allow it to dry as illustrated above.
