DO NOT immerse the toaster in water or any other liquid.
• After each use, remove the crumb tray and dispose of any bread residues. Do this regularly as a
build-up of crumbs poses a potential re hazard. Always insert the tray back into its housing.
• To remove any jammed slices of bread, do not insert cutlery or other utensils into the toasting
slots as doing so could damage the heating elements in the toaster. Unplug the appliance from
the power socket, let it cool down, then turn it upside down and shake it gently to remove the
jammed bread.
• Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place: Do not place anything on the toaster.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The appliance does not
work.
The plug is not connected to
the power socket.
Insert the appliance plug into
a power socket.
The power cable is
damaged.
Check that the cable is intact
and insert the plug.
If the power cable is damaged,
contact your dealer.
The toast browns on one
side only.
The Bagel function has been
activated.
Check the button light is not
on duiring use and the display
shows the word “Toaster” only,
not “Bagel”.
The heating element is
faulty.
If the fault remains when using
Toaster function, contact your
dealer.
Not all heating elements are
glowing.
This toaster uses new, more
energy efcient technology
which uses less power but
toasts food in the same way.
Not all heating elements
will glow during use, this is
normal and does not affect
the performance of the
product.
Check the bread is toasting.
Follow instructons for USING
THE PRODUCT to check the
toasting function.
The heating element is
faulty.
If the toasting function is
not working, contact your
dealer.
