BEFORE USE
Run the coffee maker for the rst time with 1 L of water, without coffee and without
the Duo Filter (j).
Your coffee maker may be tted with a Duo Filter (accessory in option depending
on model).
The Duo Filter is a double-action antichlorine and anti-scale lter.
The anti-chlorine action of the lter brings out the most delicate aromas of the
coffee.
Tap-water frequently contains a chlorine level that impedes the development of the
coffee’s aroma.
CAUTION: the safety precautions are part of the appliance. Read them carefully
before using your new appliance for the rst time. Keep them in a place where you
can nd and refer to them later on.
