• Never use scouring pads for cleaning purposes.
• To remove the anti-scale filter, remove the kettle from its base and allow it to cool down. Never remove the filter
when the appliance is filled with hot water.
• Never use any de-scaling method other than the one recommended.
• All appliances are subject to strict quality control procedures. These include actual usage tests on randomly
selected appliances, which would explain any traces of use.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Never heat the kettle when it is empty.
• Never fill the kettle past the maximum water level mark, nor below the minimum water level mark. If the kettle
is too full, some water may spray out.
• It is not intended to be used in the following applications, and the guarantee will not apply for:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
USE
• Remove all of the packaging or stickers from both the inside and outside of the kettle.
• Adjust the length of the cord by winding it under the base. Wedge the cord into the notch under the base.

• Rinse the inside of your kettle and the filter separately. Boil two or three full kettles. Don’t drink the water from
the first two or three full kettles as it may contain dust.
• Place your kettle on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Remove the lid by turning it anti-clockwise and then lifting it.

- To lock the lid, insert it and then turn it clockwise.

• Remove the kettle from its base and fill it with fresh cold untreated tap water through the spout by pressing
the trigger or with the lid open. Never exceed the "Max" water level.

• Lock the lid

and replace the kettle on its base.

• Move the switch on the top of the handle to ON.
A heating cycle is started. Once the water has boiled, the kettle will switch off automatically.
NNoottee::
• You can switch the kettle off at any time by removing it from the base or by moving the switch to the OFF
position.
• Never leave water in the kettle after use.
