CLEANING
n Unplug your coffee maker before cleaning it. Pull out the filter holder Fig. 9.
n The jug, lid and filter holder are dishwasher safe.
n Wipe the body of the appliance with a soft cloth.
DESCALING
n
Descale your appliance every 40 cycles.
n
You can use:
- Either a sachet of descaler suitable for use in coffee maker diluted in 2 cups of water.
- Or 2 cups of commercially available white vinegar which can be purchased from your local hardware
store.
n
Pour the mixture into the tank and start the coffee maker (do not add any coffee).
n
Allow the equivalent of one cup to drip into the jug (d) then switch off the coffee maker.
n
Leave the descaling mixture remaining in the coffee maker to work for one hour.
n
Start the coffee maker again to complete the cycle.
n
Before using again, run the appliance 2 or 3 times with a full tank of clean water do not drink this water.
Important: do not leave the sachet of descaler within reach of children.
Our guarantee excludes coffee makers not working or not running correctly due to lack of
descaling.

n The power cord winder located under the appliance allows you to adjust the length of the cord Fig. 10.
