5. Connect the communication cable to the plug
connector for the communication interface. Please
note the pin assignment.
Torque: 0.2 Nm.
6. Connect the plug connector on the inverter to
communication interface in COM2 connection panel.
7. Establish LAN connection from KOSTAL Smart
Energy Meter and inverter to the Internet.
8. In this variant, the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter runs
as a slave and transmits data to the inverter.
9. In the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter, select the
PIKO CI for the RS485 A interface. Refer to the
operating instructions for the KOSTAL Smart Energy
Meter.
10. Mount COM 2 cover cap.
Torque: 1.5 Nm
11. After commissioning, the RS485 termination in the
KOSTAL PIKO CI app must be set to ON on the
last inverter connected to the RS485 communication
cable.
This can be done under Settings > Communication
Settings > RS485 Settings > Terminating Resistor.
