Operation and operating the device
Disconnecting DC cables
The inverter must first be de-energised on the AC side.
Then all DC connections on the inverter can be discon-
nected. You will need the disassembly tool
supplied
with the unit.
1. Insert the disassembly tool into the plug's side
release openings so that the plug is unlocked and
separated from the socket by approx. 1.5 mm.

2. Remove plug from the socket.
3. Ensure that the disconnected DC cables are pro-
tected against both weather (rain) and unauthorized
access.
4. Check that all connections on the inverter are
voltage-free.
5. Wait at least 10 minutes before carrying out any
further work on the inverter so that the capacitors
contained in it can discharge.

The inverter is isolated on the DC side and
voltage-free.
DANGER
RISK OF DEATH DUE TO ELECTRI-
CAL SHOCK AND DISCHARGE!
De-energise all devices and secure
them against being switched on
again.
The PV generators/cables may be
live as soon as they are exposed to
light.
Disconnect the DC cables by inter-
rupting the connections to the PV
modules.
If it is not possible to disconnect
the DC cables, observe the rules
for working under voltage.
Use personal protective equipment,
hard hat, visor or goggles, protec-
tive suit, insulating gloves.
Use an insulating protective mat as
an underlay.
Only use insulated tools.
