Ensure vehicle has CarPlay
1. Plug an iPhone (running iOS 10 or newer) into the car USB ports with genuine factory
lightning cable. If there is a notification pop up on iPhone like below, that your car has
built-in Apple CarPlay.
2. If a CarPlay icon appears on the vehicle’s audio unit, the vehicle has built-in Apple
CarPlay.
3. If not, contact your vehicle manufacturer dealer for further assistance.
Powering the CarPlay adapter
Using one of the supplier USB cables, connect the USB-C connector to the CarPlay adapter
then connect the other end to your vehicle’s dedicated wired CarPlay port.

Note:
The adapter should be plugged into the USB port that is for wired Apple CarPlay
connecting if there are multi-USB ports in your car.
