Cleaning the Inlet Valve Filter
If no water or insufficient water flows into the washing machine when the tap is open, the
inlet filter may need cleaning.
1. Lower the water pressure:
a. Close the tap.
b. Select any program except ‘Spin’.
c. Press ‘Start/Pause’ and allow the cycle to run for about 40 seconds.
d. Unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the inlet hose from the tap.
3. Rinse the filter thoroughly with water.
4. Reconnect the inlet hose securely.
Clean Detergent Drawer
If detergent or fabric softener residue builds up:
• Open the drawer and remove the siphon plate by lifting it up.
• Use tap water or a brush to clean the detergent drawer and
siphon pipe.
• Reassemble the case cover and siphon pipe, then push the
drawer back in.
• A small amount of detergent may flow into the water box
when opening the drawer - this is normal. Avoid frequently
opening and closing the drawer to prevent detergent loss.
• Be cautious of detergent spills, as they can cause
inconvenience when adjusting, tilting, or moving the machine.
If needed, remove the drawer before adjusting the washing
machine.
