• Do not use cookware with jagged edges or a curved base.
• Ensure that the base of your pan is smooth and sits flat against the glass, matching the
size of the cooking zone. Use pans that are as large in diameter as the graphic indicates
for the selected zone. Using a pot that is slightly wider ensures maximum energy
efficiency. Using a smaller pot may result in less efficiency than expected. Pots smaller
than 140mm in diameter may not be detected by the cooktop. Always place your pan
directly on the cooking zone.
• Always lift pans off the cooktop – do not slide, or they may scratch the glass.
Pan Dimensions
The cooking zones automatically adjust to the diameter of the pan within certain limits.
However, the bottom of the pan must meet the minimum diameter requirement for the
corresponding cooking zone. For optimal efficiency, place the pan in the centre of the
cooking zone.
