Connecting the Cooktop to the Power Supply
• This cooktop must be connected to the power supply only by a qualified electrician.
• Before connecting the cooktop to the power supply, ensure that:
o The domestic wiring system can handle the power draw of the cooktop.
o The voltage matches the value specified on the rating plate.
o The sections of the power supply cable are adequate for the load specified on
the rating plate.
• To connect the cooktop, avoid using adapters, reducers, or branching devices, as these
can cause overheating and a potential fire hazard.
• The power cord should not contact any hot surfaces and must be positioned such that
its temperature does not exceed 75°C at any point.
• The power connection should comply with relevant standards or be protected by a
single-pole circuit breaker. The connection method is illustrated below.
• If the power cord is damaged or needs replacement, cease use immediately and

• If the cooktop is connected directly to the power, an omni-polar circuit-breaker with at
least 3mm contact separation must be installed.
• The installer must verify that the electrical connection is correct and complies with
safety regulations.
• The power cord must not be bent or compressed.
• The power cord should be regularly inspected and replaced only by a qualified
electrician.
• Any alterations to the domestic wiring system must be made by a qualified electrician.
• The bottom surface and the power cord will not be accessible after installation.
• The power should be connected in compliance with the relevant standard or a single-
pole circuit breaker. The method of connection is shown below.
