Children and Vulnerable People Safety
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given super vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children aged 3 to 8 years may load and unload this appliance under supervision.
• Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are at
least 8 years old and supervised.
• Keep all packaging away from children to avoid risk of suffocation.
• When discarding the appliance, unplug it, cut the power cord (as close to the appliance
as possible), and remove the door to prevent children from suffering electric shock or
becoming trapped.
• If this appliance features magnetic door seals and is replacing an older appliance with a
spring lock (latch), render the spring lock unusable before discarding the old appliance
to prevent it from becoming a death trap for children.
General Safety
• Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear
of obstruction.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process,
other than those recommended by Kogan.com.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use other electrical appliances (such as ice cream makers) inside of
refrigerating appliances, unless they are approved for this purpose by Kogan.com.
• Do not touch the light bulb if it has been on for a long period of time because it could
be very hot.
• When positioning the appliance, ensure the power cord is not trapped or damaged.
• Do not locate multiple portable electrical outlets or portable power banks at the rear of
the appliance.
