OPERATION
Touch control
• All operations are performed using the touch controls on the control
panel.
• Each touch control has a corresponding visual indication (indicator light).
• You will hear a beep each time a touch is registered.
Using the Touch Controls
• The controls respond to touch, so you don’t need to apply any pressure.
• Use the ball of your nger, not its tip.
• You will hear a beep each time a touch is registered.
• Make sure the controls are always clean, dry, and that there is no object (e.g.
a utensil or a cloth) covering them. Even a thin lm of water may make the
controls dicult to operate.
Switching on the ceramic hob
Press the ON/OFF button (see gure 1) to switch on the appliance.
The hob will beep once and all the zone indicators will light up briey. This
indicates that the hob is in standby mode.
Note: Make the next step within one minute, otherwise the control will
automatically shut down.
