SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the user manual carefully before using the device and keep it for future use
of the device. The operating instructions contain important safety instructions,
an overview of the device, technical data, installation instructions, operating
and adjustment instructions, information on cleaning and maintenance and
troubleshooting.
• Make sure that the type of gas and the gas pressure correspond to the
requirements stated on the type plate. The type plate is located on the side of
the device.
• Make sure the kitchen is well ventilated while using the device. A ventilation
fan or extractor hood should be available.
• Flammable or explosive materials/gases must not be stored or used in the
vicinity of the device.
• To avoid burns, do not touch the burner caps, tripod, or burner surface while
the unit is in use.
• Should a gas leak or smell of gas occur, turn off the power immediately and
open windows and doors for adequate ventilation. To avoid accidents, do not
use electrical devices near the device.
• If the ame goes out, switch off the device to avoid accidental gas leakage.
• Do not leave the device unattended while in use.
• The gas hose should be replaced at least once a year to prevent leaks.
• Turn off the device and the gas supply after use.
• Do not leave the device unattended when it is in operation. Always keep
children and pets away from the device.
WARNING
Danger of re and explosion! Failure to follow these instructions
could result in re or explosion leading to property damage,
personal injury, or death.
If you smell a gas leak:
1. Do not attempt to light the device.
2. Make sure that the device is switched off.
3. Extinguish any nearby ames.
4. Close the fuel supply valve to the gas cylinder.
5. Leave the area immediately.
6. When the smell of gas has dissipated from the area, unit and
fuel supply, follow Gas Connection Instructions.
7. If you smell gas again, perform the above steps again and have
the device serviced.
• Check the seals and ttings every time you use the stove. The seals (between
the cooker and the gas cartridge or gas bottle) must be in place and in good
condition before connecting to the gas cartridge or gas bottle. Do not use the
device if the seals are damaged or worn. Do not use the stove if it is leaking,
