6. Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING!
Fire hazard!
If the cleaning instructions are not followed, there is a risk
of grease deposits that can ignite when exposed to heat!
Clean the appliance regularly, especially the metal filter,
and replace the fleece filter at the recommended intervals!
Ensure that the filters are always in place during operation
to avoid grease deposits inside the appliance!
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Before cleaning and maintenance work, disconnect the cooker
hood from the power supply by pulling out the mains plug
of the appliance or switching off or unscrewing the fuse
of the domestic installation!
Contact of moisture with live components can cause
an electric shock and/or short circuit!
Do not use excessive amounts of liquid for cleaning
and do not use high-pressure or steam jet cleaners!
CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
The appliance can become hot during operation!
Allow all components to cool down before you start cleaning!
The lighting may be hot after operation!
Before replacing the LED bulb, allow it to cool down!
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Internal components can be sharp-edged!
Protect yourself accordingly against injuries,
e.g. when installing the appliance or removing the filter!
