Important Safety Instructions
• Flying sparks near the cooker hood can cause a fire!
The appliance may only be installed near a fireplace
for solid fuels (e.g. wood or coal) if there is a closed,
non-removable cover on the fireplace!
• In particular when frying or heating oils and fats,
never leave your cooking food unattended because
of the risk of fire! Note that the risk of spontaneous
combustion increases if oil or fat is used repeatedly!
• In case of fire, cut off the electricity supply
and carefully smother the flames with a fire blanket
or similar!
Never extinguish burning oil or grease with water!
After extinguishing, have the appliance checked by a
suitably qualified professional!
