Installation of the cooker hood

8.5 Mounting the appliance
Noteonavoidingdeposits
If the cooker hood is not installed horizontally,
grease and/or condensation may collect
in the corners / edges of the appliance!
Check the correct alignment of the appliance
with a spirit level during and after installation!
Proceed for installation on solid masonry,
as described in the following section.
If the appliance is to be attached to a wall of a different
nature (e.g. plasterboard, aerated concrete, Poroton
bricks) replace the supplied mounting materials
according to the substrate!
If the mounting surface is made of wood,
you may be able to do without dowels.
However, always ensure a secure hold!
• Determine the desired position for installing
the cooker hood or the corresponding wall brackets
in the center above your cooktop in accordance
with the distance regulations and dimensions
mentioned above.
• Then place the bracket for the hood body on the wall
accordingly, check the horizontal position with a
spirit level and mark the position of the screw holes
on the wall.
Notes:
The rear upper edge of the hood body is later
mounted on the 175 mm wide bracket,
the upper edge of the lower part of the exhaust air
shaft is mounted on the 150 mm wide bracket
and the upper part on the 165 mm wide bracket,
whereby its height can be adjusted according to the
dimensional specifications.
• Drill one hole each at the corresponding markings
according to the length + 10 mm and the diameter
of the dowels.
