Important Safety Instructions
Do not operate gas burners under the appliance
without cookware that matches their size and reg-
ulate the flame so that it does not pass over the
bottom of the cookware! Do not operate high-power
burners or wok burners with more than 5kW or two
gas cooking zones at the same time with the highest
flame for more than 15 minutes!
• Flying sparks near the hood can cause a fire!
The appliance may only be installed near a fireplace
for solid fuels (e.g. wood or coal) if there is a closed,
non-removable cover on the fireplace!
• In particular when frying or heating oils and fats,
never leave your cooking food unattended because
of the risk of fire! Note that the risk of spontaneous
combustion increases if oil or fat is used repeatedly!
• In case of fire, cut off the gas and electricity supply
and carefully smother the flames with a fire blanket
or similar!
Never extinguish burning oil or grease with water!
After extinguishing, do not use the appliance
before it has been checked by a suitably qualified
specialist and authorised for further operation!
