2. Operating Principle and Use of the Appliance
2.1 Intended use and functional principle
Your cooker hood draws off fumes and odours
produced during cooking and creates fresh room air.
The appliance can be used in both exhaust air
and recirculation mode.
The air is sucked in by a radial fan, blown through the exhaust
outlet of the hood body and, depending on the operating mode
used and the corresponding installation, passed on
(see the following sections and "Installation...").
Particles of grease and dirt, fumes and, to a certain extent,
moisture are absorbed by the metal grease lter;
however, additional ventilation may be necessary, especially
in recirculation mode.
CAUTION!
Health risks and risk of damage!
Moisture remaining in living spaces can lead to
harmful mould growth and damage to surfaces!
Do not rely entirely on the extractor fan's suction power
to ensure sufficient air exchange during and after
cooking!
For odour control in recirculation mode, the supplied activated
carbon lter is additionally installed (see relevant sections under
"Installation..." and "Cleaning...").
