Cleaning and Maintenance
Manual cleaning
• Soak the metal filter in hot water with detergent
for approx. 1 hour.
• Then clean it with a soft brush.
Be careful not to damage the metal mesh of the filter.
• Rinse it well with hot water afterwards.
• Let the filter dry well after cleaning.
Cleaning in the dishwasher
• Soak heavily soiled metal filters well in hot rinse water
also before cleaning in the dishwasher.
• Rinse the metal filter separately from the dishes
to avoid possible grease deposits on the dishes
and accumulation of food residues in the mesh of the filter.
• Place the filter vertically and loosely in the dishwasher without it
being clamped, preferably with the filter side facing downwards.
• Select a temperature setting of 55 - 65 °C.
• Make sure that the filter is dry before you put it back in.
Inserting the metal filter
• After cleaning, allow the filter to dry thoroughly
before carefully reinserting it into the cooker hood.
• Re-insert the metal grease filter into the cooker hood
in the reverse order to that in which it was removed.
• Make sure that the lock is engaged and the filter is
correctly positioned so that it cannot come loose,
fall down and cause damage!
