12.7 PTZ Settings
Supports serial PTZ, network PTZ, and PTZ control based on the NDI protocol.
Before using PTZ control, you need to first go to the backend management -> Settings -> PTZ
Settings section and enable the PTZ control switch.
12.7.1 Setting up PTZ Function
N60 supports control of PTZ cameras using the Sony Visca, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P protocols.
If you want to use serial PTZ control, you need to connect a USB to RS232/RS422/RS485 converter
(cable) to the USB interface of the encoder. When the device correctly recognizes the serial port, the
corresponding USB extension interface will be added in the "Serial Port Device." Then, select the serial
port type in the PTZ settings and set the correct serial connection parameters and PTZ control protocol.
If you want to use network protocol-based PTZ control, simply select "network" in the PTZ settings
and set the correct network connection parameters and PTZ control protocol.
