OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (continued)
NOTE: Your transmitter has been paired to your fan's receiver at the factory.
No further pairing or frequency change is necessary. However, you may need to
manually pair a transmitter to your fan's receiver:
• If you install an additional fan and would like to control all fans with the same
transmitter.
• If the fan does not respond to the transmitter.
NOTE: First, make sure that the batteries in the transmitter still have power (when
a button is pressed on the transmitter, the backlight in the transmitter will light up
if the batteries still have power).
• If you replace a faulty transmitter or receiver with a new one.
To manually pair a transmitter to a receiver, follow these steps:
NOTE: Please keep this page in case future reprogramming is
needed, or an additional remote control is added.
PAIRING A TRANSMITTER TO THE FAN
TRANSMITTER OPERATION
Reverse Button: While the fan is running, press the reverse
button once, and the fan will reverse direction.
OFF Button: Press once to stop the fan.
Light Button:
Press once to turn the light on or o. Press and hold to dim or
brighten the light to the desired level, then release.

Fan Speed Control Buttons:
1 is the lowest speed and 6 is the highest speed. Press one of
the buttons to start the fan at the corresponding speed,
or to change speeds.
Light Button:
Press once to turn the light on or o. Press and hold to dim or
brighten the light to the desired level, then release.

WARNING: Make sure the power is completely disconnected
before you begin this process.
Important: Fan motor and fan blades must be installed before
the pairing process can begin.
Step 1. Remove the safety screw and battery cover from the back of the
transmitter. Retain safety screw.
Step 2. Restore power to the ceiling fan branch circuit at the circuit breaker or
fuse box. Within 30 seconds of restoring power, press and hold the LEARN
button on the back of the transmitter
(Fig. 32) for 3 seconds. The light on the
fan (if installed) will flash twice and the fan will turn on at a low speed. This confirms
that the pairing process is complete. The transmitter will now be paired to
your fan and ready for use.
Step 3. Try dierent speed settings on the transmitter to make sure the fan is
fully functional. If programming is unsuccessful, completely disconnect power
again, then retry Step 2 again.
Step 4. Reinstall the battery cover and safety screw to the back of the
transmitter.
The buttons control the fan speed and light as follows: (Fig. 33)
