5.5 Notes on the electrical system
Before connecting the device to the mains, you must ensure that you are using the
correct input voltage. The information for selecting the correct mains cable can be
found on the device, on the back of the product directly above the connection socket.
It is essential that you follow this information. If you do not adhere to these
instructions, this may result in fire or other damage to the appliance.
The main switch must also be switched off before the mains cable is connected. In
this way, you avoid triggering an electric shock.
If you are using an extension cable, the mains cable you are using must be earthed.
Only carry out work that comes into contact with the electrical system of the
appliance when it is de-energized.
