Cleaning, removal, and
installation of duct
components
After cleaning, reinstall all parts
back into the device by turning them
clockwise, as shown on the right
side of the image.
To remove the duct assembly, turn it
counterclockwise, as shown in the
image.
During normal operation of the
device, grease filters should be
cleaned manually once a month
using mild cleaning agents or liquid
soap.
Next, turn each part of the duct
assembly counterclockwise to
disassemble all components, as
shown on the left side of the image.
The activated carbon filter 3 is
cleaned by internal circulation or
needs to be replaced. These filters
absorb odors until they are
saturated. They should not be
washed or reused. They must be
replaced at least every 6 months, or
more frequently in case of very
heavy usage.
