Automatic detection of utensils
When the Touch Control is ON it can be switched-OFF
at any time by operating the ON/ OFF key 3. This is
also valid if the control has been locked (activated child
lock feature).
If a cooking zone has been selected with heating level
0, in 10 seconds it will be deactivated.
The ON/ OFF key 3 has always priority in the switch-
OFF function.
When the control is ON it automatically switches-OFF
after 1 minute if no cooking zone or select key has been
operated within this period of time.
ON/ OFF priority
If the diameter of the utensil’s bottom is less than 12 cm,
or it does not have ferromagnetic properties, i. e. can
not be heated on induction hob, on the display of the
corresponding heating field will blink symbol 2, .
The letter will only switch off when the burn risk is no
longer present (below 60 °C).
If the child lock feature was active when switching on,
the timer display shows a symbol L, 4 – locked (also
refer to Key lock).
Residual heat indicator
If the temperature of the cooking zone is still high (and a
burn risk still present) after it has been switched off, the
correspondent display for the zone will indicate the
symbol H, 1 (residual heat).
