Operating mode switch BVNG650-…
Exchanging the BVNG650-… for
the BVNG650-…
When exchanging the BVNG650-…
in an existing system for the
BVSG650-…, the setting of the
operating mode switch must be
noted. The setting depends on the
device types installed in the existing
system.
If different device types are used
together in an existing installation,
the operating mode must be set to
switch setting 1.
In the switch setting 1 the opera-
ting current is increased to 1200mA
in order to supply the existing bus
users. The performance features
on the In-Home bus are not fully
available in switch setting 1.
The following functions are not
supported:
• Status display of the LED for
feedback from BEM/BSE650-…
• Doormatic
• Call forwarding
• Parallel call only possible to 2 bus
telephones.
If an accessory card ZBVSG650-…
was plugged into the BVSG650-…,
the accessory card ZBVNG650-…
must be plugged into the new
BVNG650-…
It is not possible to exchange a
first-generation YR bus system
with the following device types:

BTLM650-01 with BVSM650-…
BTS/BTC750-0 with VBE650-…
