3) Lift the cloth puller using the F key to which you
have registered the "Cloth-puller up/down travel
function".
4) Carry out sewing with the cloth puller lifted.
Check the stitch length.
5) Adjust the stitch length to the desired one.

5. Correcting the sewing pattern
5-1. Checking the length of stitch sewn without using the cloth puller
1) Register "Cloth-puller up/down travel function" to
the F key button.

"4-5-6. How to use the F key" p. 61
for how to carry out registration of function to the
F key.)
2) At the beginning of lapping of at portion, sew
several stitches with the cloth puller lowered.
After the completion of adjustment, be
sure to tighten the lock screw.
6) After the adjustment of stitch length to the de-
sired one, lower the cloth puller using the F key to
which you have registered "Cloth-puller up/down
travel function".
7) Check the needle guard.

8) Set the stitch length after the adjustment for the
Sewing Data No. S003.
