Moisture Barrier Tape

NOTE: Moisture barrier tape

is an optional, added level

of protection if installing a

dishwasher under a wooden

countertop. If a moisture

barrier is supplied with the

unit, the moisture barrier

should be installed on the

underside of any wooden,

particle board, or laminate

countertops to prevent

potential long term damage.

The moisture barrier is not

required for countertops made

from materials such as granite,

stone, and marble.
